Overview
The AI-820 is a UHF RFID industrial reader with a built-in 1.5 dBi circularly polarized ceramic antenna. It reads ISO 18000-6C (EPC Gen2) tags at 0–80 cm, depending on tag type and environment, at no less than 50 tags per second, with RF output adjustable from 0 to 33 dBm and RSSI support.
It connects by RS232, RS485, RJ45 or PoE (optional), using Modbus RTU; Profinet, ASCII, HEX and other protocols can be customized. It has one GPI input, with GPO available to order, works in active, command or trigger mode, and shows its state on 4 LEDs (run, link, read, power).
The black ABS and aluminum alloy housing is rated IP67, measures 102 × 62 × 23.2 mm and runs on DC 9–24 V. It has FCC and CE certification. The SDK supports VB, Python, Java, Delphi and C#, and firmware can be upgraded online.
